Historical Music Profile:
At the age of 13, Ravindranath was taught the above divine words by his music cum holy master. Teachers instructed Ravindranath to chant Sanskrit Vedic verses, to do advanced yogic practices and to sing the classical music compositions.
Since childhood, Ravi was intensely blessed by internationally distinguished south Indian flute maestro Padmashri Dr. Thiruvarur Natesan Ramani in Chennai. Dr. N Ramani gave his 60-years of flute playing experience to Ravi. Dr. Ramani’s perceptive techniques on the flute later truly made Ravi as an International artist.
At the beginning, Ravi started to learn south Indian flute under the teachings of Vidwan Sri K P Upadhyaya, Mysore. Later he was greatly influenced towards the Indian classical flute and studied the same from Pt. Sri Rajendra Prasanna, New Delhi.

Sri Chetarama Sharma, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh after which Ravi performed his first mountain music concert at the altitude of 15,000ft. above sea level in the lowest temperature where the fingers cannot move for a musician and the breath stops sometimes for a flutist..
Ravi performed his first International fusion music concert with the western musicians at Jeonju Sori Festival, South Korea in 2004. Metal drums and western guitar in the festival greatly accompanied Ravi’s bamboo flute. There Ravi introduced the multiple flutes playing, by playing Karnatic flute, North Indian flute and Mountain flutes of different sizes in Indian classical and western classical styles.
Finally, Ravi acquired his flute educational qualification from the famous Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India. Besides the music, Ravi finished a degree in commerce and later obtained a Diploma in Yoga & Naturopathy (DYN) from Gujarat Ayurved Univeristy, Jamnagar.
